TWO election forums this week give voters another chance to meet and hear Bass candidates explain why we should elect them.
The two forums will have very different audiences, the first focusing on the farming community, the second on a conservation-minded audience.
VFF Bass candidates’ forum, Grantville Hall, Thursday, November 5, 7-9pm
Candidates will be asked about the issues that matter most to farmers and regional communities, with time for questions from the floor.
The forum is co-hosted by the VFF and Rural Press Club of Victoria and will be moderated by ABC Gippsland editor Jarrod Whittaker.
Phillip Island Conservation Society candidates' Forum, Berninneit, Saturday, November 8, 1.30-2.30pm
Phillip Island Conservation Society will quiz candidates on climate change and coastal erosion; traffic and tourism; and protection of Western Port.
Following set questions from the society, there will also be time for questions from the audience.
