HEADING into winter, the Fixit Cafe volunteers were kept busy with heaters and coffee machines last month.
With the next café on Sunday, it's the perfect time to take advantage of this free service to make sure the things you rely on to get you through the cold months are in working order, from portable heaters and slow cookers to your favourite warm jumper.

Fixit Cafes operate all around the world. Here in Wonthaggi, on the third Sunday of the month, a team of skilled volunteers do their best to repair your faulty or damaged things. This helps reduce what we send to landfill while saving you money. It also provides a relaxed and friendly place to meet people from your community.
