TO CELEBRATE the first King’s Birthday holiday weekend, the opening night of the Corinella and District Community Centre Art Show and Sale will have a touch of class.

Patrons are encouraged to dress to impress. Crowns and tiaras are optional and will add a bit of fun on the night.

The opening is on Friday June 9 at 7.30pm. Tickets are $15 which includes a catered supper and drinks.

This is the major fundraiser for the Corinella and District Community Centre, which runs community programs on a tight budget.

Artists of all styles and mediums – traditional and contemporary – and photographers with flair are invited to enter their work in what will be the largest art show in Corinella’s recent history.

This year’s show will extend into the Blue Room, an expanded space in what was the former computer room. The art show committee is pleased to have ample room for paintings and photography to vie for prize money and to catch the eye of eager buyers.

Artists can email [email protected] to request an entry form or call the community Centre on 5678 0777 between Monday and Thursday from 10am to 3.30pm.

The exhibition continues from Saturday to Monday, 10am to 3pm. Entry is free.  Come along, join in the celebration, and support our great creative community.
