WHAT a day it was! Today is the International Day of People with Disability. In keeping with this year's theme of leadership and participation, the Bass Coast Adult Learning Centre in Wonthaggi held 'CelebratAbility' where participants in our capacity building program and in our practical music class got to show off what they've been doing all year.

Skills on show ranged from photography and art to cooking and bicycle rebuilding.

It was an opportunity to recognise and congratulate the participants on their hard work and dedication throughout the year, and was organised and catered for by the participants.

They did an amazing job as hosts and members of our BCAL community. Happy DOPLWD day!

Deb is BCAL centre manager. For more information about NDIS programs next year, contact her at [email protected] or 5672 3115.
