Where do you live?
In an off-grid home on the edge of the Bunurong Coastal Marine Park in Harmers Haven.
 
How long have you lived in Bass Coast?
Moved from Port Melbourne to Wattle Bank in 2011.  Krowera 2016-2019. Harmers since July 2019.
 
What is your previous community involvement (voluntary work or membership), either in Bass Coast or another area?
Volunteer driver for SPDL Daylinks. 2009-2011. Chairperson of SPDL Daylinks 2010. Daylinks is a Volunteer NFP that keeps frail and elderly people connected.
Directed a community play – Earth’s Fever – in the 2009 St Kilda Festival
​Secretary of a St Kilda based art group 2009-10.

How long have you lived in Bass Coast?
We have been holiday residents since 2004 and permanent residents since 2009, we love the island.
 
What is your previous community involvement (voluntary work or membership), either in Bass Coast or another area?
I have been involved in Investment Real Estate, having our own business in Surrey Hills Melbourne for 20 years, I know the importance and work involved in a thriving business. I have also been involved with running our Owners Corporation and Property Management business, and over the last years as an appointed Secretary of a Body Corporate committee. ​

How long have you lived in Bass Coast? 
I married a dairy farmer from Bass in 1972 so ‘48’ years!
 
What is your previous community involvement (voluntary work or membership), either in Bass Coast or another area? 
I am a member of local Red Cross Branch, Bass Valley Community Group - Life Member. I have many years of committee work experience and membership including at Corinella & District Community Centre, Corinella & District Probus and Bass Valley Historical Society.

Since being a Councillor for the past 8 years, I’ve supported many voluntary groups by being their contact and representing their needs in Council.

How long have you lived in Bass Coast? 
20 years
 
What is your previous community involvement (voluntary work or membership), either in Bass Coast or another area?
During my time on Phillip Island I have volunteered for three years as President of Phillip Island Kindergarten, one year on School Council and another three as President of Scouts.  Currently I’m serving as President of Phillip Island Tennis Club (one year) and President of Phillip Island Landcare (four years).   I love playing tennis and caring for the land is a passion of mine.  I value the importance of community groups and look forward to working with them to achieve their goals.
When living in Melbourne I was a ‘big brother’ to a young child for a number of years.

How long have you lived in Bass Coast? 
I grew up in Wonthaggi and have lived in Bass Coast most of my life.
 
What is your previous community involvement (voluntary work or membership), either in Bass Coast or another area?  
I have been a member of several martial arts organisations.
 
Have you stood for election before in local, state or federal government?  I stood at the last council election.  
As a sitting councillor, I have had the opportunity to represent the people of Bunurong Ward over the last four years.

How long have you lived in Bass Coast?
I have owned my house 1981 in Cowes Phillip Island and since 2013 have been making the seachange as I transition into retirement.

Member of Island Voice (2019-20) which is where all Island interest groups meet to advocate to Bass Coast Council.

Where do you live?
Our home is in San Remo. We completed the building of our new home in September last year.
 
How long have you lived in Bass Coast?
I started a new career in San Remo in early 2000. Prior to this we had holiday homes in Surf Beach and Cowes. We also had a rented a property in Rhyll whilst building. My history with The Island goes back to my late teens when I use to holiday at Silverleaves most holidays.

What is your previous community involvement (voluntary work or membership), either in Bass Coast or another area?
With my career as a police officer, I have been very fortunate to be involved in many community groups such as Lifesaving Victoria, Mental Health, Sporting Clubs, Vietnam Vets, Neighbourhood Watch, Rock Fishing communities, CFA, Trader Associations to name a few.
I am now a member of the Wonthaggi Rotary.
